Deivid Silva has taken out the 2016 Quiksilver Pro Casablanca, in Morocco. Pauline Ado won the Roxy Pro Casablanca and claimed her fifth European title.

The Moroccan surf spot of Anfaplace Shopping Center has once again proved to be the perfect venue for a Qualifying Series (QS) event. This year, the final had rippable three-to-five-foot waves.

In the Men’s ultimate showdown, Deivid Silva smashed French powerhouse Nelson Cloarec. The Brazilian charger rode nine waves and got a two-wave total of 18.46 points. Cloarec didn’t find his rhythm and found himself in combination situation until the end of the heat.
