Team France won their first-ever ISA World Surfing Games, at Grande Plage, in Biarritz.

The French surfers dominated the competition held in home waters and claimed the top spot thanks to the gold and silver medals conquered by Pauline Ado and Johanne Defay in the Open Women’s division.

“I am so happy to win here in France. I’ve competed in this event four times, and this was my first final. It’s the perfect timing for this gold medal to come in France in front of my family, friends, and all those who came here to support me,” expressed Ado.
