The 2015 Quiksilver Pro Casablanca will be the first ever pro surfing contest held in Morocco.

The Royal Moroccan Surfing Federation (RMSF) and World Surf League (WSL) have teamed up to deliver a Men’s QS1,500 event in the Northern-Africa region. The competition is scheduled to run from September 8th-12th, at Anfaplace.

“We are very excited to bring for the first time a WSL event to Morocco; this is a historic moment for the surf in our country. We will welcome all surfers with the traditional Moroccan warmth and hospitality and hope to host an amazing contest,” comments Mohammed Kadmiri, president of the RMSF.
