Peru has taken out the 2016 ISA World Surfing Games, in Playa Jacó, Costa Rica.

It’s their second gold medal in three years. Two years after claiming the highest spot on the podium, the Peruvians celebrated with a solid display of surfing, and consistent performance from all members of the team.

However, the individual gold medals went another way. In the Men’s division, Leandro Usuna, from Argentina, dominated an all-Latin American final. He competed in the third consecutive final and won the World Surfing Games for the second time.
