Tyler Wright wins maiden WSL Women’s Championship Tour title

Tyler Wright is the grand winner of the 2016 World Surf League Women’s Championship Tour (CT).

The Australian surfer from Culburra Beach secured her first world surfing title at the age of 22.

After guaranteeing a spot on on the Roxy Pro France final, Wright saw her rival Courtney Conlogue failing to overcome Carissa Moore in a decisive semifinal heat. As a result, Tyler celebrated with friends and supporters on the beach.
